Friendship with God

When I am overwhelmed with responsibilities and the burdens of life and ministry, I take a step back and remember one thing:

We can only trust very good and faithful friends to help us with the most difficult and challenging and thankless tasks, and to endure to the very end in faith, hope and love.

And so my stream of consciousness thoughts are silenced yet again, even as I cook-and-clean-and-chop-and-wash-and-teach-and-plan and-pray-and-write-and-feed the cat and the dog-and-change the litter box-and run errands in this remote corner of the world where my best Friend has brought me to.

May I be faithful to the end.
