Love is a scandal

For the first time,

the harlot poured out her femininity

for all to see, without shame.

But passion expressed

embarrassed the onlookers -

(and still does today)

because true love is a scandal, 

not a spectator sport. 

To every person who's been made to feel embarrassed for loving Jesus passionately, like the sinful woman in Luke 7:36-50, who has inspired me in a way no theologian has.
